Kia ora! I'm Maria, the face behind maquinky.

maquinky was born in January 2014 with a focus on babies and kids wear. Over the past 10 years, I've evolved from making kids clothing to providing NZ with super comfy undies. I'm passionate about comfort, base layers and accessories. Life's too short for wedgies!!

It's been an incredible journey so far and I am grateful for the continued support of my amazing customer base right around Aotearoa and the rest of the world.

​

When I'm not in my workshop or at markets, I am either volunteering at parkrun, working at my part time gig, trail running, tap dancing, splashing in puddles or spending time with my fella.

As for the story behind the name . . .I wanted something original that no one had already. So I merged my name with my first nephew’s and the word monkey.

Maria + Quinn + Monkey = maquinky
