Hi There! I’m Sarah; mum, entrepreneur, small business owner, wedding dress designer and sewing teacher. I have been sewing for over 10 years and have a diploma in Fashion and Textile design. I have been teaching sewing to friends for many years and would love to teach you! The Stitchery is a place for people to embrace who they are, realise that size is just a number on a label and that you can create garments that give you confidence and make you feel amazing in the knowledge that you made it yourself. Or you can just come along with a fun project to make and connect with your creative side.

Merivale Tailoring and Alterations provides sewing lessons for the beginner enthusiast through to those wishing to refine their skills. We can tutor all ability levels, from beginner and intermediate to advanced students.
With our on-site domestic and industrial machines, we will teach you how to sew from scratch to achieve a properly finished product that could be purchased from a boutique.
