Stitch Kitchen is a living story of gathering friends together around the table, sharing ingredients, ideas, skills and time, to nurture ourselves and our community.

 

Our mission is to inspire and build community through creative practices to reduce textile waste and its impact on our environment.

 

We have all the ingredients to help you reach your creative goals!

 

We have a regular set menu of classes for all ages and skill levels: from how to set up a sewing machine, to how to tailor your own garment designs. We also put together special workshops for one-on-one, or corporate groups.

 

Our small team of tutors have a wide range of expertise and participant numbers are limited to give flexibility and quality learning opportunities.

 

Volunteers can also learn and share skills through our Community Projects.

 

For independent sewists, our spacious and fully equipped studio is available to hire on a casual basis or by joining our membership.
